Identity. Jesus is the reason I am who I am today. Without Jesus, I would be lost, unknown, and living in a world of sin. Jesus took my bitterness, frustrations, misunderstood heart, anxieties, and changed it for glory, honor, and praise to the Lord. I now long to continually make a joyful noise to the Lord all the days of my life. The best part is this joyful noise is not for selfish gain or personal glory but all for the Kingdom of Heaven. Once a person has an encounter with Jesus, life will never be the same. Life has meaning and is being molded into something with direction, passion, excitement, and guidance. Through Scripture, there is Spirit and Truth continually mixing together to show more of God's character and nature and who we are in Him. Through prayer, there is an intimate time of thanksgiving, lamenting, wonder, truth, and intimacy being used. Through fellowship, there are like-minded believers who are all in the same race together knowing more of who they are in Christ. Through worship, there is a heart posture of praise regardless of circumstance. By doing all these things our identity is transformed into who God has called us to be and there is nothing greater than that.
