I look at the word of God, I look at my life growing up as a kid and they both align with each other. Jesus never ever let go of his pursuit for me, even while I was living in such a dark world and living for that dark world. Growing up loving Jesus, but not living a life full of surrender, he never stopped revealing himself to me. Through my words, through my actions, through the worship songs I listened to as I would walk to elementary school. And through his overwhelming presence. He became part of my life even when I didn't understand it and at times didn't even want him.

Jesus came so that I would love him. So that I can have a personal relationship with him. And if he had to give his life again for me he would do it. What kind of love is that? I love that bankrupted heaven for me. Jesus gave his life for me; I will give my life to him. He is faithful, he is kind. Why Jesus? Because he loves me, because he's real, and he's for me, not against me! 

Jesus Said, "I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the father except through me." (John 14:6)

That is truth. And I will stand on that truth forever. Truth that God loves me and then he sent his only son for me. It's always been that simple.
