I wish I had a creative, eloquent and a poetic paragraph to truly do justice to answer the question about why I’ve chosen Jesus time and time again in my life. But sometimes raw and real is the most beautiful. That’s all He’s ever wanted and asked of me.

I’ve had several life changing encounters with the Lord throughout my life starting at the age of 4. It’s hard to deny how good He is and how real He is after experiencing Him in real and raw places. But even more so, through the broken seasons of life, I’ve found He’s all I’ve ever needed and all I’ve ever wanted. Every time I need Him, He answers. Every time I’ve been broken, He heals me and gives me double portions of what the enemy stole. Even when I think life is good and going well, He loves to give me extravagant gifts, just because He loves me and knows me. Through the dark times of life I’ve had when He feels far, I’ve found when I come out the other side, I somehow love Him even more because He is the one who never changes - yesterday, today and forever. He’s always been good in every season. I’ve realized through my life that I was made to know Him, and knowing Him is a life walking in the fullness of joy because He is everything. I don’t know anything else other than Jesus, and I am ok with that. I only know Him, but I love Him, and I don’t need anything else.
